Aurora Communication Experts Meet in Olomouc: Focus on Storytelling and Sustainable Merch

Building a European Future Together

A consortium of 9 research-intensive universities deeply committed to the social impact of our activities, and with a history of engagement with our communities.

Eliška Postavová

PhD student at the Department of Optics, UP Faculty of Science

“Thanks to a research internship at the University of Naples Federico II within the Aurora network, I had the opportunity to get involved in research in the field of condensed matter physics. The research focused on time crystals, i.e. systems that spontaneously exhibit persistent oscillations. It was a great opportunity to become familiar with another area of theoretical physics and gain first-hand experience with research work.”

The collaboration with the Italian group has resulted in an article published in the New Journal of Physics.

Andy Li

student of the DIGISOC joint study programme

“I chose DIGISOC for its interdisciplinary nature and for the way it allows us to connect digitalization with meaningful social impact. The teachers are very supportive and approachable, which creates a comfortable learning environment. I also really appreciate the strong international dimension and mobility opportunities made possible by the Aurora network. Thanks to this, my studies are not limited to one place – I have the opportunity to study at universities in different countries within the alliance.”

Maxim Tomoszek

Lecturer of the LOUIS educational tool, Department of Constitutional Law, UP FL

“I teach constitutional law and need students to be able to solve problems in the field of constitutional law effectively. However, I am not an expert in the competency of ‘problem-solving’ myself, which is why I have been using the LOUIS educational tool, developed within the Aurora network, for several years. It helps both me and my students develop these skills, together with critical thinking and communication, while also allowing for more precisely targeted feedback.”
