Take part in a short-term study mobility with the Aurora Alliance in Paris or Helsinki! Choose between a programme on bioeconomy and sociobiodiversity at Université Paris-Est Créteil and a course on inclusive language teaching at the University of Helsinki. You can look forward to a combination of online learning, an international environment and a stay at a partner university – with financial support available to selected students. Apply by 25 September 2026 at the latest.

Futures of Bioeconomy of Sociobiodiversity – Université Paris-Est Créteil

The Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Futures of Bioeconomy of Sociobiodiversity is designed for Master’s students and combines topics related to bioeconomy, sociobiodiversity, design, economics and thinking about possible future scenarios. The programme is organised by the UNESCO Chair at the AEI International School of Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC), in cooperation with Università Federico II of Naples and Copenhagen Business School.

  • Who can apply: Master’s students in all modes of study
  • Students can apply for the selection procedure via the STAG portal (UP Portal – ECTS Mobility) until Friday, 25 September 2026.
  • Participation requirements:
    • English at a minimum level of B2
    • active student status from the submission of the mobility application until the completion of the programme, including its online components
  • Required application attachments:
    • motivation letter in English (it must state the applicant’s level of English and be addressed generally to the selection committee; it will subsequently be shared with the BIP organisers at Université Paris-Est Créteil)
    • transcript of academic records from STAG
  • Number of credits: 4 ECTS (please consult your department regarding the possibility of having the credits recognised)
  • On-site component: 26–30 October 2026
  • Online component: 19 and 23 October 2026
  • 3–5 students will be selected, and their mobility will be funded through the Aurora project

All Aboard: Inclusive Language Teaching and Learning – University of Helsinki

The second opportunity is aimed primarily at students preparing for a future career as language teachers. The BIP All Aboard: Inclusive Language Teaching and Learning focuses on creating learning environments in which all students can feel welcome and supported and have the conditions they need to succeed.

  • Who can apply: students at all levels and in all modes of study; preference will be given to students focusing on education and language teaching
  • Students can apply for the selection procedure via the STAG portal (UP Portal – ECTS Mobility) until Friday, 25 September 2026.
  • Participation requirements:
    • English at a minimum level of B2
    • active student status from the submission of the mobility application until the completion of the programme, including its online components
    • please note: only one BIP mobility per student can be funded during the 2026/2027 academic year
  • Required application attachments:
    • motivation letter in English (motivation for participating, relevance to the applicant’s field of study and future career, etc.)
    • transcript of academic records from STAG
  • Number of credits: 3 ECTS
  • On-site component: 8–12 March 2027
  • Online component: 22–26 February 2027
  • A maximum of 5 students will be selected, and their mobility will be funded through the Erasmus+ programme

You can receive ECTS credits for successfully completing the courses. To find out whether these credits can be recognised as part of your study programme, please contact the mobility coordinator (Erasmus, etc.) at your department.
